Synapse Express Client 158 is now out and includes Skypeout and HL7 import support. Futhermore we now have released graphing functions for the numerical data imported from HL7 results, or entered manually.
For example, you can test the graphing using the demo server. Using the patient "
Minnie Mouse", select the "
Results" tab, and then the "
Numerical Results". Use the "
All" button to show all the results available, then use the "
Graph" button. Use the "
Control" and left mouse button to select the "
Weight" and "
BMI" values. Accept with
"OK" and then "
Graph" on the "
Graph Setup" screen to see graph. This can be printed to a PostScript printer, or to the RoPS viewer if you have installed it.
Here's an example from a patient with rheumatoid arthritis taken over two years:
the datapoint labels can be turned off if required.
This release also includes LOINC (
Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes ) mapping of imported HL7 results.
