SynapseDirect

This is the Synapse EMR Express Server Install Package.

This will install the following components to your server:

1. Synapse EMR Express Server
2. FireBird SQL Server Database Server
3. FireBird ODBC Driver for Microsoft 32-bit operating systems
4. Server Readme - containing useful installation notes

Your Synapse EMR Express Server is configured to start upon port # 9010 and this port should be added to all your Client computers as a System Environment Variable through Control Panel > System > Advanced Tab:



Replace 'myserver' with the NAME or ip address of the computer running your Synapse EMR Express Server.

When starting your Synapse EMR Express Server the EMR Control Panel MUST be used to stop Synapse EMR Express Server before your Server computer is closed down.
