Currently if you click on "Last Scan" on add results, it brings up the filename.  You then have to click on "View with browser".

With this flag set, Last Scan also browses the file with browser.

    Re: Client 210 betas

The new print options for encounters are:

    "Word" - no change

"DirectPS" - sends the printout directly to a postscript printer

"Fax" - brings up the postscript preview screen.  You can then invoke GSPrint or use your FaxServer as before

"Server PDF" - with the webserver installed, this creates a PDF on the server ( about 5kbs in size ) which is downloaded to the browser. Details on who printed this file are kept in a print log associated with that patient.  This is the only print method that is tracked currently.  The other methods can also be tracked if we need to make it like that.

    My secretary will like that.

    Server R79B2

    1. Changed to using the Synapse-server.exe to create pdfs

    Client R210B3

    1. Uses synapse-server for pdf creation
    2. Bug when dispensing medication has wrong subject title fixed
The bug fix relates to creating and saving a prescription while inside the consult editor.  The prescription was given the same tags as the current consult.  Now it says "Prescription".

    Re: Client 210 betas

The new client sometimes pops up "lost connection, you can not save..." message after a short while of idling.  But it's actually still working fine.  That confused my receptionists.

    Re: Client 210 betas

    And me too!

I need to remove that message ...and add a less obtrusive warning.

Basically what is happening is that the client is sending a ping to the server.  Previously the server was discarding those, but now it is returning them.

If the ping return is not received within 10 seconds, the client puts up an alarm ...which appears to overly sensitive.

    Re: Client 210 betas

    R210B6

    1. Removes disconnect warning message.
    2. Drop down list on title changes gender again (broke when added "." to titles)
    3. Adding ticklers can now use the appt dialect.

When you add a tickler, in the date field you can now type, for example:

    • 1 week
    • 2 weeks
    • 3 months
    • 1 year

    Basically the format is :    n [ day(s) | week(s) | month(s) | year(s) ]

which is the same as the appointment dialect when moving the current date forward
