files named by Autofile are in the format surname_firstname_nhi/dob_testtype_dateoftest_filename
Importing such files into Synapse involves the following:
- assigning results to the PCP of the patient or to no-one ( staff id of 0 )
- sending them to the inbox of that PCP, or to reception for further processing
- assigning results to a dummy patient if the patient can not be identified
- choosing whether the files use nhi or dob
- choosing to delete or keep the files after importing
