    Windows 7: MultiTouch - how might EMRs/GUIs change with this as an option

    I am trying to decide if Multi-Touch is "waay" better than just Touch Screens ?  Probably not !

    I suspect my arms are going to get tired real quick having to pull and stretch things on screen.

    Carpal tunnel is probably easier treated than supraspinatus tendonitis.

    I think there needs to be another user interface besides the keyboard and the mouse.

    When I watch the videos I think either the mouse is either faster than the finger demo or it could be faster if you tweaked the way the mouse works.  ie. like this:

    if the keyboard had a new "super mouse" button, if you held it, it would perform the turn clockwise/counter clockwise if you moved left and right and perform the  zoom in/zoom out if you moved up and down with the mouse.

    There you go, we've eliminated most features of the multi-touch. 

    I think this interface would help mouseless / keyboardless devices ... but that's it !
