I was going to get this http://pbxinaflash.com/ going but maybe this Everex gPC2 based preconfigure is the way to go !
The $199 Everex gPC2 systems are available from WalMart and NewEgg among others. (no international shipping).
My VOIP phones came today.
They look cool. The gPC2s come next week as the shipping got messed up.
Should be some cool stuff
I have found Voip just not as good as a landline .. cutting out on me at times while speaking. And the volume isn't as loud.
goodluck!
Mine are POTS phones plugged into a VOIP router.
These are my phones. Normally $300/piece, on sale for $200.
The screen displays XML !
There are cheaper phones but I wanted to try some kick ass ones to start !
Made my first VOIP incoming and outgoing calls.
Thanks MOM !
:)
Fully working now with actual POTS lines (Plain Old Telephone Service) for superior call reliability and clarity.
I ended up buying this TDM card.

My Asterisk now includes a fax server !

You got to be kidding.
It's VOIP fax.
It does include fax to email.
Not suitable for my needs though. Unlikely as good as Snappy Fax and will pale in comparison to Synapse Fax Gateway
PBX in a Flash architecture.
fancy stuff.
