Many new laptops have those quick launch buttons ... usually for the browser and email.

I configured mine to run Synapse instead!    And if you run the Synapse server on your laptop, configure one of the buttons to run the Synapse server.

One cool thing might be to get everyone to buy the same keyboards for all synapse computers and then we can make use of all the buttons.
