If you're using the new betas, you will have noticed the "Clinical Guides" or pathways box at the bottom right of the consult editor.

I'll be tackling this next most likely.

I think I'll be using some type of map to create the pathways.

Anyone with input here?

Including clinical pathways in an EMR is a very good thing in my opinion, but definitely some work to build.  There are many sources on the Internet for them, but do you have a source for good ones you are using?

No, I don't.  I just setup the rheumatoid arthritis one from some lecture notes that i was given at an international conference I attended last week :)

As you say, there are many around .. and some are tweaked for local circumstances, so it is better if I just build the mechanism to allow you to create your own.

The map editor can also be used for creating mini knowledge bases ... and models of your workflow for documentation purposes.  And even todo lists ... if we didn't already have enough of those!

The New node button wouldn't be so useful as currently the node position is defined by where you double click on the workspace surface.

• creating small family trees
• timelines for complex treatments
  
• personalized treatment plans

Minor problem as the drag and drop is SO GOOD !

This minor problem is minor compared to the new user wondering ... how can I do anything with this app (starring at a blank screen) ?
