My VOIP phones came today.

They look cool.  The gPC2s come next week as the shipping got messed up.

Should be some cool stuff

I have found Voip just not as good as a landline .. cutting out on me at times while speaking.  And the volume isn't as loud.

Truthfully these phones are just ethernet phones that I plan on using with Asterisk.  I could just use plain old telephone lines (POTS) externally with these as well.  Asterisk handles either well.  I am going to get a Vonage account ASAP though as a backline.

Mine are POTS phones plugged into a VOIP router.

These are my phones.  Normally $300/piece, on sale for $200.

The screen displays XML ! 

There are cheaper phones but I wanted to try some kick ass ones to start !
